The material of the rolls is very poor, it is only thing that I do no like.

I purchased this product as my house has mostly hardwood and tile. Love the way this cleans without leaving residue on the floors. I use my own cleaners. Voice commands are helpful. Self cleaning cycle is great.

I have used several steam cleaners over the years including a Scooba from iRobot.

The main thing I want to say about this mop is that i think what it is very best at is taking a mostly clean floor and making it a very clean floor. I would not want to use this mop on major messes. I think it would make the roller into a mess, I think it would turn the dirty water tank into a toxic waste zone. Etc. Where this unit shines, and I mean that, is when you have a mostly clean floor already and you want it to be sparking using nothing more than the power of steam. It's a somewhat "dainty" mop and will struggle if you try to throw big spills at it, or chunky spills.

There are a few main benefits of this unit. I believe it was three refills of tap water that let me get through about 1600 sq feet of hard laminate. My laminate has pretty deep grooves it and the S5 handled that no problem. I dumped the waste water about 4 times because I wanted to monitor how dirty it was getting. To be clear it wasn't filthy but it definitely was a nasty shade of brown. Despite me thinking these floors are pretty clean it picked up quite a lot of dirt.

It's super easy to use, fill up the water reservoir, clean the floor, empty the dirty and then do a cleaning cycle. I understand some people may be confused by it but it's really quite simple. The machine itself tries to guess where it needs more power. Like other reviewers I wish it would let me decide because, frankly, I'm smarter than this mop. However, even letting it do its own thing it went OK.

It's fantastic that it's corded, I am sick of relying on batteries. Tineco says you can't do it but I've put swiffer solution on the floor and sucked it up and it seems fine. I would not put any cleaning solution in the clean water tank but it doesn't make sense to me that cleaning solution can't be put on the floor (especially in the kitchen where the mess may tend to be somewhat oily).

Downsides:

It's not picking up as much water as it puts down. It's getting a decent percent, maybe 60% but it's leaving a fair bit of water on the floor. However, because it's so well distributed it evaporates quickly.

You do have to stop and fill the water tank fairly frequently.

No manual mode to let you set it to maximum power when you know you need it and the mop doesn't agree.
